Lori Babcock is the go-to person for all things financial. As Director of Finance, Lori manages the accounting of The Brooks Group and directs all financial management initiatives and expenditures. She handles billing inquiries from clients and she’s popular with Brooks Group employees too – in addition to handling payroll Lori is in charge of The Brooks Group’s 401(k) plan, group insurance plans, and employee benefits.
For Lori, the challenges and opportunities of small businesses are appealing, because she can be involved with every client and focus on their needs. Her expertise in managing the finances of small businesses benefits not just The Brooks Group: Many clients have noted Lori's attention to detail and interest in ensuring that they get the best possible service and support.![]()
Lori is an honors graduate of Oklahoma Christian College with a BA in Accounting. Before joining The Brooks Group in 1995, Lori had built her career in corporate accounting for small businesses and non-profits, including The Girl Scouts of Chicago, Corman & Wood CPA, PA; Summit House; Pascale & Associates Advertising; and First Greensboro Home Equity, among others. |
When she’s not crunching numbers for The Brooks Group, this queen of spreadsheets and bean-counter extraordinaire and her husband, Norm, serve as taxi drivers for their four children: Brittany, Brandon, Connor, and Morgan. If there’s spare time remaining after that, Lori loves working on her house, traveling and burying herself in books. |
