When Wendy Marks joined The Brooks Group as an assessment coordinator in 1999, we knew she was a capable, intelligent individual. But it turns out – three promotions later – that we had only seen the tip of the iceberg.
Today, as the Sales Coordinator, Wendy is responsible for keeping the busy Brooks Group sales team on schedule and on task. If you've ever called in to speak with a National Account Manager about a training event, assessment, or coaching session, you've spoken with Wendy first! All of our Account Managers are also facilitators, so they have a lot of juggling to do, but Wendy ensures that they are in the right place at the right time with the right information.
In addition to managing the sales team's schedules, Wendy stays on top of The Brooks Group's client database and our database of leads, ensuring that every client and prospect gets the information and attention they deserve.![]()
Wendy’s unusual career path explains some of the distinctive strengths she brings to The Brooks Group. As a veteran of the manufacturing industry, she’s able to move through challenging projects with machine-like speed and precision. We often joke that her 10-year stint running a childcare business uniquely qualifies her to keep our sales team in line. She’s also a very quick study – this knowledgeable database administrator had never so much as turned on a computer before she came to work at The Brooks Group. |
Away from work, Wendy enjoys camping, decorating her house, and the all-American hobby of shopping. She is happily married to her husband of 18 years, Jamie. The couple is very proud of their two sons, Josh and Jacob (21 and 17). With their turbulent teen years behind her, Wendy can now sleep soundly. She’s especially proud to announce that Jacob recently graduated from Army Boot Camp and will be headed for a military career after college. |
