Sales people are people. People grow. People who are growing have sales revenue's that are growing. Step along the way I think reward the sales proffesional. And after enough steps maybe the sales person realizes its finally not about them anymore. It bear's mentioning to... If a sales person does not mine for the true solution that the buyer is in search of, then reveal that quality in the product or service, then it dosen't really exist to the buyer and he won't purchase it. Kinda like a selling a club to a caveman. What would a caveman want with a clup. Not much. But a he may be interested in a tool to procure food without having to put it in a choke hold. Now there is value in that.... How much was that? The club is 5 bucks Mr. Caveman and these stratgies that will show you how to use it are free, here... Now caveman walks away feeling a new found ease, life takes on new shape, because he bought a way to get dinner. And you, you just sell clubs.

You really can't more bottom line than that!

Its often said that sales people have big egos. Could that be why it is many times difficult for them to understand the difference between the price and the value of the solution as perceived by the client?
