Kevin
Reinert joined The Brooks Group in 2005
following a distinguished 28-year career in the United
States Air Force. Rising to the rank of colonel, Kevin’s
last position was Director of Public Affairs for the
Air Force Reserve, where he served as the senior spokesman
for more than 72,000 Citizen- Airmen.
Previously, Kevin was the Deputy Director of Air Force Reserve Command Recruiting Service from 1999 to 2003.
As his organization faced critical mission challenges, having missed its recruiting goals four consecutive years, Kevin enhanced production by incorporating “best practices” sales techniques used in the private sector. His bold initiative yielded spectacular results. Partnering 400 military recruiter-salespeople with The Brooks Group, the Air Force Reserve rapidly became the premier military recruiting organization in the Department of Defense. Starting in 2001, the Air Force Reserve has surpassed its recruiting goals six straight years, prompting one Assistant Secretary of Defense to label the Air Force Reserve as the “model” for military recruiting.
Kevin’s “lead from the front” style inspires people to success. He organized and commanded the largest Air Force Reserve-wide public affairs training exercise in history, preparing hundreds of public affairs troops for duty in the Global War on Terrorism. In addition, Kevin led three USO troop entertainment tours to U.S. military bases overseas, bringing a “touch of America” to thousands of service members stationed far from home.
Here at The Brooks Group, Kevin is responsible for consulting nearly1000 military recruiters on the most effective means to employ the IMPACT Selling System® in their daily recruiting activities. He also assists in providing expert sales coaching advice to existing Brooks Group clients in the commercial sector.
Kevin is married to Lt Col Jean Reinert, an Air Force career nurse, and they have two children, Philip and LeeAnne.
